Press filtration – a device for dewatering and filtering fine-grained pulps with a small content of solid particles (for example, flotation waste from coal enrichment)

Purpose: Thanks to the press-filtration complex, a possible increase in the production of pellets leads to the need to involve more and more difficult-to-enrich ores in the production. An increase in the proportion of heavily beneficiated ore leads to an increase in the fineness of ore grinding, the specific surface, which, in turn, leads to the impossibility of dewatering the concentrate by the method of vacuum filtration. In order to retain the moisture of the concentrate when production volumes are increased, it is suggested to use filter presses complete with power pumps to dehydrate the concentrate; compressors to supply filter presses with compressed air and mixers for high-quality mixing of concentrate with batch additives.
